GENERAL PURCHASE CONDITIONS

  • COSTS OF POSTAGE AND PACKING
    The postage expenses are calculated automatically when you buy so that you can see the total cost of your purchase. It is calculated according to the following conditions:

    Country of destination and Delivery methods.
    Each of the following delivery methods have a different price and time of delivery. The time frames specified below are only for the delivery and not for the order processing.

    Spain
    - Standard Parcel. The deliveries are sent to the Post Office of the addressee. Once the addressee is notified, the parcel can be picked up, on signature, before 15 days.

    If the parcel is to be paid on delivery, the price of the Parcel Post will include 1.62 euros (additional price for the cash-on-delivery service) and also, although it will not appear in the invoice, the client will have to pay an extra 0.77% of the total price.
    Delivery time frames: Peninsular Spain, Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: 4 – 5 working days. Canary Islands: 8 working days.

    - Paquete azul. The parcel is delivered at the addressee’s residence, and if the delivery is not possible, it can be picked up at the nearest Post Office. Delivery time frames: Peninsular Spain, Balearic Islands, Ceuta and Melilla: 3 - 5 working days. Canary Islands: 8 working days.

    - Courier (Only for Peninsular Spain). The parcel will be delivered in 24 hours.

    International
    - Economy International Parcel. The parcel is delivered under signature.
    Delivery time frames: Europe: 8 - 10 working days (average). Other destinations: Check according to country.

    TAXES.
    All the prices in our webpage include VAT (Value Added Tax). In deliveries to countries outside the European Union, Mercatus will not assume the expenses corresponding to taxes and tariffs of each country.

    DOCUMENTS I WILL RECEIVE WITH MY PURCHASE.
    Inside your parcel you will receive an invoice with all the details of the purchased items and the delivery expenses. If the purchased item is a present for another person, they will receive only an invoice without prices. If this is the case you must state so in the section for additional requests on your order, at the end of the purchasing process. If you also state so, we will wrap up the purchased item.

    OTHER INFORMATION.
    Stocks are limited, and although they appear on this webpage, they might not be available immediately. If we do not have the requested item, Mercatus will contact you to let you know the delay in the delivery of your purchase. Mercatus guarantees the strictest confidence of the personal data registered with your purchase.

    COMPLAINTS.
    The delivery time frames are estimated, and they start once the parcel is ready to be sent. Once we inform you of the delivery of your purchased item, if you do not receive the parcel in the time frames stated above, you can contact us and we will immediately claim the correct delivery. Period in which to complain to the Post Office:

    Spain:
    Standard Parcel: Minimum of 20 days and maximum of 4 months. Paquete azul: Minimum of 10 days and maximum of 4 months.

    International:
    International Parcel (economy and priority): Maximum period of 6 months.

    GUARANTEE AND RETURNS
    You have the right to return the purchased item(s) in the following 7 days after receiving the parcel.

  • Any return or exchange must be authorised by Mercatus.
  • The invoice of the purchase must be submitted for any exchange or return in the maximum period of 7 days after receiving the parcel.
  • Any returned item must have its label, seal and packaging. If it shows evidence of incorrect usage, the returned item will not be accepted.
  • Mercatus will not admit the return of any product that is to be used on the body for hygiene and sanitary measures.

  • If you wish to use your right to return any item, we will reimburse the price, minus the delivery expenses. If you wish so, the item can be exchanged for another item, adding the new delivery expenses; or you can receive a voucher to be used in the following 6 months.
